Who We Are

Heartopia Wiki (heartopia.uno) is an independent, fan-made English-language resource for the cozy multiplayer life-sim game Heartopia. We are not owned, endorsed, or sponsored by the developer of Heartopia. We exist because players kept asking the same questions in 14 different Discord servers, and we wanted one trusted place to put the answers.

We are a team of seven long-time Heartopia players, scattered across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Singapore. None of us work for the studio that makes Heartopia. None of us have insider access to unreleased content. Everything on this site comes from one of three places:

  1. In-game testing by our team. When we say a fish spawns at 22:00 server time on Rainy Wednesdays at Ocean West, it is because at least two of us stood on that exact pixel and watched it happen.
  2. Public developer patch notes and livestreams. We summarize and explain, we do not copy-paste. When we quote the developer, we link back to the original source.
  3. Community contributions. Players submit home designs, fishing routes, and bug reports via our Discord and contact form. Every submission is manually reviewed before publication.

Our Editorial Process

Every guide on this site goes through a four-step pipeline.

Step 1 —Topic Selection

We track what players are actually searching for using search console data and Discord keyword monitoring. If a question appears more than 30 times in 60 days, it becomes a guide.

Step 2 —First Draft

One team member writes the draft based on their in-game notes. Drafts are typically 1,200—,800 words and include screenshots captured on the writer's own accounts.

Step 3 —Fact-Check Pass

A second team member (never the author) plays through every claim. If the second tester gets a different result, the draft goes back to Step 2. This process catches roughly 1 in 7 drafts.

Step 4 —Update Tracking

Every guide has a visible "Last Updated" date and a version history table. When the game patches, our team re-checks the most claim-heavy articles within 48 hours.

Our Funding Model

Heartopia Wiki is funded by two non-intrusive ad placements (Google AdSense) and a small Patreon support pool. Ads are never placed before the first 300 words of any article, never pop up, and never auto-play sound or video. We do not run sponsored reviews, paid placements, or affiliate redirects. If a guide ever becomes sponsored in the future, it will be clearly labeled at the top of the page.
