Story quests give 5,000 Gold each + 1-3 unique items. The full set takes ~14 hours and unlocks 60+ items you cannot get elsewhere.
Optimal order: do Mira, Taro, Eli first (their quests unlock 3 new systems). Skip the seasonal NPCs until the event returns.

Marcus: The order above is NOT the in-game quest log order. The game suggests Greta first, but Mira's quest unlocks the cooking system, which gives you food for other quests. Reorder saves ~2 hours.
Lin: Quest #11 (Kai's Wreck Dive) requires the Ocean West map unlocked. Don't attempt it on Day 1 —you'll swim forever. Wait until DG 8.
Sofia: The Wanderer's quest has NO marker. You have to find the Wanderer at a specific spawn point (Twilight Forest, full moon only) and use the dialogue option "I seek the way."
